He received his Ph.D. and undergraduate education from Harvard University, and is the author and editor of books and articles on Churchill, among other subjects. Scott Gerloff, Director of National Trust Tours, will be the organization's host for this trip. Scott has been working in historic preservation for 33 years. He was one of the founders as well as the Executive Director of the Trust's successful Main Street Program. He also developed and launched the Trust's Historic Hotels of America program and served as its first director.
