Summer in Ireland conjures up visions of green fields, lush gardens, and long celestial evenings.  Join us as we explore the west of Ireland, an historic landscape of haunting beauty, where myth and music is intertwined into the fabric of life.  Everywhere, you will receive the personal welcome for which the Irish are renowned.  Enjoy days with archaeologists, historic house owners, and historians, as well as chance meetings along the way!

Begin your journey just north of Galway at Glenlo Abbey, an historic country house and member of the Historic Hotels of Europe.  As a National Trust member, you will be treated as a privileged guest.  From this lovely base along Lough Corrib, explore the vibrant city of Galway, the fascinating Aran Islands, and the ancient beauty of the Burren.

Hotel KenmareThen travel south to Killarney for a stay at the Park Hotel in Kenmare. Another member of the Historic Hotels of Europe, this renowned resort offers an elegantly relaxed atmosphere, fine cuisine, and one of the finest spas in Ireland.  From your base in the charming town of Kenmare, enjoy a "behind-the-baize-door" tour of a wonderful Victorian country house and spend a day on the Dingle Peninsula.

Ireland's traditional warm welcome will be even more personal on this specially designed program in the Emerald Isle.   Please join us!

Sincerely,

Scott Gerloff
