Relive the tumultuous Tudor dynasty with one of its most famous personalities,William Shakespeare. Begin in Stratford, idyllically set on the banks of the River Avon, with champagne and sonnets at the bards birthplace, and see his gravesite (alongside that of Anne Hathaway) at Holy Trinity Church. Discover the Gunpowder Plot at Coughton Court and spend a day in the lovely Cotswolds, attending two performances by the Royal Shakespeare Company. In London, stroll through Shakespeares haunts in Bankside and Bishopgate and attend a performance at the Globe, where you can discuss the play with the actors, post-production.
