Literary Traveler is always on the lookout for thoughtful examinations of books, authors, destinations, hotel profiles, technology and other relevant topics.  If you have an idea for a piece that would fit one of our site topics, we want to hear from you.

Topics:

Books – Reviews, Author Interviews, Literary Film Reviews, Book Lists, Bookstore Profiles, and more.

Travel – Destination Profiles, Short Travel Writing, Travel Lists, Personal Travel Experiences, and more.

Hotels – Profiles of Hotels with a Literary Angle, History of Historic Hotels, Hotels with Literary Significance, and more.

Gear – Reviews of Products for “Literary Travelers” – Technology, Travel Gear, Reading Accessories, Outdoor Gear, Must-Have Travel Necessities, and more.

Guidelines:

1000 – 2000 words in length; photos optional. Please do not send pieces over 3000 words in length. We find that to be too long for our format.

A short bio and a link to one social media account or blog can accompany your work, providing you further exposure. Please include this statement with your submission. It may be edited for length and the link is subject to approval.

How to Contribute:

Send work to contributor (at) literarytraveler.com. Clearly identify the subject “Literary Traveler Contributor” in your email. Send article in the body of your article or attached as a Word Document.

Response Time:

If your work is accepted, we will give you a time-frame for publication. While we try to respond to everyone who submits, this can sometimes prove difficult. If you do not hear back, feel free to follow up.
